Official Synopsis
It’s a race against time as Amy and Jake try to uncover the cause of a unique patient’s worsening condition. Gina treats a quirky hypochondriac, and Amy makes a shocking discovery about her pre-accident love life in the all-new “Once More, with Feeling” episode of Doc.

What I'll Remember
Amy goes to Michael’s house (her old house) to see if it jogs any memories. Katie is there, but Michael and Nora are at the farmer’s market. Amy and Katie talk about how no one has touched Danny’s room since he died.
Amy is mad at Gina for not telling her about Nora’s pregnancy earlier. She walks away when Gina tries to talk to her about it.
A staff member comes into Gina’s office and says that a well-known patient named Ned is there and that Ned’s uncle pays their salaries. Is he Max’s nephew?
Still having no idea that they used to be together, Amy brings Jake a coffee to make up for the the one he bought her the other day. Amy mentions that she went to Michael’s house for exposure therapy, and Jake asks her how things are between her and Michael. Amy says he’s married, he’s having a baby, and that’s the end of story. She says it’s ok and she’s looking forward, not back.
On the first night of the episode, Katie and Amy have dinner at Amy’s condo, which they presumably planned earlier in the week. While they are together that evening, Katie decides to move in with Amy. Amy is thrilled. In flashbacks, Katie and Amy struggle through the lead-up to Amy moving out of the house five years ago. Once Amy moves into her condo, she doesn’t give Katie what she needs emotionally and leaves her alone too much in the evenings. Katie asks if she can go live with Michael full-time.
The day after Katie decides to move in with Amy, Michael drops her off at Amy’s condo. Amy isn’t there. Michael looks around. There are medical books open on the counter, and Katie mentions that Amy is taking the boards next week. Michael says how much he’s going to miss Katie. She says that she couldn’t have gotten through all these years without him and that’ll she’ll be around a lot once the baby comes.
Gina tells her patient Ned that when she was in her early 30s, she dated a guy and married him.
Amy and Jake talk in the staff locker room about how Richard has been very salty to Amy. Amy asks Jake is he has a hot date, and Jake says that he’s actually going through a breakup. While they’re talking, Katie calls Amy and tells her that even though it’s their first night together, she wants to go to the movies with her friends. Amy says that she should go. Jake asks Amy if she wants to grab a drink since her plans fell through. Suddenly, Amy sees the energy powder in Jake’s locker, which triggers her brain to figure out that she and Jake were together before the accident.
Amy questions Gina about what she knew about Jake, and Gina tells Amy that she found out about her and Jake “two days ago.”
Amy goes to Jake’s house and tells him that she figured out that they were together. They kiss. Amy goes into Jake’s house, joking that her curfew is at 11 (the same time as Katie’s).
